I’m new to the TeamSpeak Beta. I was eager to finally be able to use a DirectX Input from my HOTAS instead of SCROLL LOCK, since the support for game controllers is broken in TS3 with the Thrustmaster Virtual Device, but it seems there’s no support yet. Is there any plan regarding DirectX Inputs?
Just checking in if there’s any news about this. If not, I’m afraid I have to switch back to TS3 since I just bought a Virpil HOTAS that I cannot program to send keys.
While I know it would not be an officially supported answer, you could try something like the Xbox Accessories App or reWASD to remap a button on the controller to a standard keyboard button, maybe something in the F13-24 range that is almost never used by any software since they are rare keys to find on any non-(AT or PS/2) keyboard. TS3 and TS5 do not show the key ID correctly as noted here ( F13-24 Hotkeys - TeamSpeak Client / Suggestions and Feedback - TeamSpeak), but it works.
Since the topic is about hotkeys, it would not be bad to add support for gamepads and steering wheels. At the moment, it can be assigned to the keyboard and mouse.
Its works on Teamspeak 3 client but not on 6. Why can i configure push to talk not any more like the 3 version ?
With a modifided joystick (print removed and put in a litle box and mounted to switches joystick its works so fine), i can use my browser and other programs whitout any problem like using the ctrl button earlier.
Sorry for my bad typing english. Greets from Holland
Hi. The title says it all. I’m looking to assign Teamspeak keybinds (including whispers) to my VKB gladiator joystick. I was told there is a plugin for Teamspeak that can do this. Hopefully said plugin works for the latest versions of Teamspeak (6).
I downloaded a plugin called ‘Gamepad & Joystick Hotkeys’ via the Teamspeak website. I double clicked the file after downloading and nothing happened. Figured I might need to install from within the Teamspeak client. Couldn’t find an option to do that anywhere.
