Server Set-Up Issues - Wrong IPv4

Server Set-up

I was able to go through the process as outlined in the TS3 Client, and initially I had Registered it with the IP Address (IPv4) I had received from opening the CMD as Admin and running an IPConfig. Which returned a stranged IP, with a couple 0’s in it - which I didn’t think any thing of.

Post Set-up

Ran through the firewall allowances including the ones for voice and file sharing and I was able to connect to it without any problem and then proceeded to send out the server invitations to the rest of my group so we could begin chatting, but the community wasn’t able to join me as we’re trying to leave discord for TS3.

After doing a check and going through their firewall they were not able to connect and so we thought it might be the IPv4 > which after checking it through my web browser at “whatsmyip.com” I got a much different IPv4.

The issue at hand…

The IPv4 from the internet doesn’t work when setting up a connectable server, and I can’t register it with that because I continue to get the “Failed to establish connection to TeamSpeak Server” Error; with reason code “Failed Connection Initialization” and if I use the one I got from IPConfig no one but me can connect.

Question is

What step did I miss or what did I break or is there a way to de-register the IPConfig IPv4 if that’s the wrong one?

Hello @TasogareKage and welcome to the TeamSpeak Forum.

Maybe there is a Solution about your Problem.

I have done all of this and none of this before posting and none of this solved the issue

Also none of this answers my question at all. Because I’ve identified that I need to use the IP Address that comes from somewhere like whatsmyip.com but the problem is, even the IP I get will not register a connectable server even with the correct ports open and I am not running a dual UPD/TCP open which could cause an issue as mentioned. I shouldn’t have any ISP issues as I am able to connect to a server without issue and access voice and file sharing I just can’t host and the IP Address I am attempting to use only returns an error but I can set one up with the local IP that has the 10.0.0.239.
