So when I do this, my cmd empties. Except for a server. However, I suspect that it has a different port.
then it realy could be a server problem, your connection seams to work
But where exactly is the mistake? It works with other users too.
could be the permission as i read here
https://www.reddit.com/r/teamspeak3/comments/4ueegm/the_icon_for_the_server_was_not_found/
could be that the entrance channel has a too high permission.
Are you and your friend where it only works on VPN on ame provider or share same ip range?
Can we test it for ourself?
This shouldnât be because he does not get group icons. These are not stored on channels where permissions can be set.
If we use VPN then NordVPN otherwise we have different internet providers.
oh my bad, i miss read it
Could that be because my internet runs over LTE? With DSL, I only receive very slow Internet, which is why I switched providers in April of this year.
Hello there! So Iâve been having issues with my sever groups on my TS server Iâm helping make for a friend, After uploading icons to the server, they do not save to the below section. After someone new joins the server, they get an error saying the â[<15:07:49> The icon for server group âGROUPâ was not found.â Any suggestions to help fix this issue?

Hi, Iâm running a personal TS Server on my windows machine and have set-up the File Transfer port correctly, Iâm able to transfer files through channelsâ chats, but when uploading them as icons for the server, they appear blank.
The limit of my role for max icon size is high enough, so what am I missing?
In 99% the icons are no longer available on Serverâs hard drive or port for file transfer is not opened.
The server owner must fix this.
Those files are not transferred over the server but the myTeamSpeak system. So, something with you file transfer settings / port is incorrect. By default it is TCP 30033 and the port needs to be open for incoming traffic / redirected everywhere your voice port is as well.
30033 Port is open and redirects to the correct IP.
Is there any error in server or client log?
Is this file an image at all? We had cases in the past files had wrong file endings and itâs content wasnât a valid image at all. With tools like IrfanView you can identify such images. It would print a request to change file endings.
No error message, it even shows up as successfully uploaded,
2024-04-23 17:40:40.290334|INFO |VirtualServerBase|1 |file upload to (id:0), '/icon_408382813' by client 'Asviix'(id:3)
And Iâve tried with multiple known âtrueâ .jpg files
Iâm not sure about this but another reason could be that the server has no permission to write the files on the host machine.
