I’ve double-checked and the server has permission to Read/Write files where it’s located, it even creates an icon file when uploading one, but still shows as blank on Teamspeak, and it can successfully write Log Files without any issues so I’m pretty much at a loss here.
If the file is 0 Bytes than it is with the file transfer port. If I’m not mistaken the client announces to the server that it would like to upload a file via the default (voice) protocol, the server create a file handle and some sort of token and then the client sends the file with the token over the file transfer port. Thus you see the file being created but without contents.
The file created is the size of the original (uploaded) file, and looking into it also reveals it’s not filled “artificially” filled with data waiting to be replaced, the file is there. Teamspeak just fails to display it in the Icon Manager or in the Server itself.
EDIT: After checking inside the file itself with a text editor, the uploaded file in the server’s files is a carbon-copy of the original file, so the issue isn’t network related, but with Teamspeak itself.
EDIT2: Reinstalling the whole of Teamspeak, Restarting the server and my computer seems to have done the trick, uploading icons now works with all files that previously didn’t, still don’t know what caused it since my TS Install was recent and the latest version
Glad to hear it works now!
So, for future reference it was most likely a cache related issue.
Hello, I have this problem that I have been having for some time. For example:
The icon for server group “Level 15” was not found.
The icon for server group “Helper Assistant” was not found.
and more …what sould i do , i already uninstall the app and installed again ,idk
If you‘re owner of the TeamSpeak server, please make sure, that the ports for the FileTransfer are open.
Other guess is, that the icon folder got moved to another place than before and need to be replaced.
Thank you so much, i will try now
