in order to get the badges – do i need to “claim the community”? i click the button and it opens teamspeak, but thats it. I did wind up using the privlege key though, so not sure if that means i would get it in this case?
The badges are not being distributed yet. They will be automatically assigned in the near future.
Might need to update the dates from the initial announcement. We’re well past “end of March” now…
I think the same.
Why you don’t implement a Text channel? And one more question? Is there the possibility to have more than 32 users like the TS3 Server License? Because, if we have Textchannel, there could be more interagtion. You could then limit the access to voice to 32. With that you can steal Users from Discord. Not with this, you have at the Moment.
TeamSpeak staff how are we standing with server files / screenshare improvements, can we expect anything in near future?
According to the updated badge list (Updated TeamSpeak Badge List), I should have received special badges for purchasing a Community at launch. Am I reading this wrong? I am wondering why I don’t have the badge on my account.
Any update on increasing the server capacity? We’re currently unable to host our larger events on TS6 and have had to revert to using Discord. We’d much prefer to use TS6, but without additional slots per server, it’s just not feasible.
I beg if you. Please free us from Discord.
The badges have not yet been distributed. As soon as the system is set up and fully functional, everyone will receive their badge.
Yes, the new community tier will most likely go live next week, with 64 slots in total (including the bonus slots).
Any news? it has now been several weeks and nothing happens no information and no update regarding the badges
Does anyone know if enabling this (when becoming available)
will make “MyTeamSpeak” unusable in TS3?
As I could assume TS3 not being able to support this, without making a new patch
As it is for now, I feel TS3 working with Permissions are easier and other features which are not as done in TS6 yet
Hate to be the guy to say this and i hope I’m wrong, i just feel that they’re trying to keep a flow of income while stringing server renters in hopes that we get the badge, which we will eventually but shouldn’t be taking as long as it is.
Why do I say this? Simply because the counter question “how long does it really take to implement a badge when the design is already done?” sure as hell it doesn’t take over 2-3 months lmao, keep in mind its just a simple png/jpeg/svg file.
In this case it is a bit more difficult to get a reliable system up and running that distributes the correct Badges to the correct users that meet the requirements.
I know the Badges are promised and will definitely be distributed once the system is ready, but in terms of priority, you can imagine that other infrastructure changes may get a higher priority.
You promised it months ago and certainly planned it earlier. So to say now that you don’t have a system for distribution is a bit cheeky, because you see who has rented a server by day X. and everyone after that gets the normal badge

I don’t know if I am the only one, I am currently using my own TS3 (self-hosted) but I am paying for a TS6 to support – but almost 2 months with radio silence on current status I am feeling a bit like a clown…
I don’t expect lots of updates coming in short time, but TeamSpeak’s Reputation for Radio Silence is high and is not a good rep…
For me I don’t expect an update to be pushed but if there was some way to see that progress is actually going on, would do much
Nearly 2 months of radio silence, and nearly 4 months of no new update released for this TS6 ‘in-development’ beta. Rather disappointing.
I won’t just complain here, I’ll also provide feedback on how to ease some of these frustrations us users are having with regards to TS and the communication:
My suggestion is to propose a model such as a consistent, weekly or bi-weekly blog post going over what has been done in that time, something like that I believe would go a long way in earning more faith among users, through being transparent and consistently informative about the current development. Would certainly help in stopping us from going “update wen” every couple of days too.
All the best,
Just open source the client at this point, I don’t see what you would have to lose. Free MRs. And I’m sure your developers will thank you for not having to use Discourse as the issue tracker lmao
can we have text channels like a forum? so we have a main chat, meme chat etc.?
I can only speak for myself, but my idling “Community” might suffer same fate as the subscribed inactive Patreon Content Creators very soon…
I am aware that it ain’t much, but not utilizing it and only did it as no other donation method is possible (I have asked)
[Only having community to support, as I am rocking self-hosting TS3, TS6 Community is unused]
57 Days since last actual update/status
Any communication since, is purely support cases for e.g. Communities that are having issues (which is of course important to solve)
I am not asking for a client update, just something that explains what is currently happening, what is being worked on or what have been achieved since last update…
A Gif/Video showing functionality, can be a pure as is without marketing stunts
I totally agree with @notpyrate that an update every X would stop a lot of these wondering questions and asking for when
I would like it to be smaller ones every other week
