Looking forward to good news. I will thoroughly test the new server to help accelerate the refinement and updates for TS6-server
Exactly this - I may not be a great programmer, but I play around with a lot of selfhosted stuff, and I’ll help in any was I can to run the teamspeak server through it’s paces.
awesome news, thank you!
I’ve got experience both in home and enterprise hosting, so if there is anything we need to do to participate that’d be great to know
thanks for the information. I’m looking forward to the server release and the new client version
I’m still hyped as hell !!
What about linux wayland support to the screenshare? Im hyped, I just waiting a long time to any TS option to replace the Discord software, and many people is waiting for it. Im starting to see light at the final. Wayland is already the present of the graphics on linux and is very important to have it ready.
Hi, I’ve been following this post for a while and I have a question about TS6. I’d like to know if multichannel recording will still be available like in version 3, or if it was removed? I consider it a very useful tool for anyone wanting to record podcasts or gameplay with multiple people at the same time, and wants each user on a separate track. It’s also one more point in favor of TeamSpeak.
Sounds great! Looking forward for next week (and no worries if you dont hit that release date)
Looking forward to it! Wishing you smooth progress!
Im a keep hittin the refresh button on this thread until that button needs an STI test
Extremely excited for this, if the server files release this week, I’ll be one of the first jumping on the TeamSpeak band wagon.
Hyped, going to install now
Thank You for this announcement! What does this mit for endusers and noobs like me?^^ When i rent a server will it support TS6 now? When will the TS6 Client be updated?
@Dr.Bo If you rent a server through one of our ATHPs, it will still be a TeamSpeak 3 Server. As announced, the TS6 Server released yesterday is currently in Beta and not yet considered stable. TS6 Servers are only available directly from us at myTS | Communities if you’re not interested in participating in the Beta Test and self-hosting.
That said, you can still rent a TS3 Server from our ATHPs and connect to it using the TS6 Client. That functionality has not changed.
Regarding the next client update, there’s not much I can share at the moment, especially in terms of a release date. However, we’re actively working on getting screen sharing to function on macOS, and we’re still working hard toward proper hardware acceleration. Once those are in place, we should be ready for the client update.
Thanks, i would testing it out with your servers but the only payment method is with creditcard
Are your server hosting revenues sufficient to ensure more stable development than what happened with TS5?
Will we have an update by the end of the summer? It’s starting to get difficult to retain people because some essential features sold for the TS6 beta are barely working or not working at all.
This isn’t a criticism, and I’m not saying you’re not doing anything behind your screen. I believe in your project. But it would be nice to keep us informed about the application now that you’re regularly updating us on the .bat file update for the server.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry if my english is bad, trying to do my best
@SYOX Is there any new news about the client update?
I can’t share much more than what I’ve already said in my previous comment:
Once I have more Info or any updates, I’ll post them.
