thanks for updates but I dont think that users are satisfied. We are hyped and always checking community status from myTeamSpeak. You need to give how much days the team needs to set everything up. The more we don’t know, the more frustrated we become. Shut down the community and announce restart time.
that’s exactly it … we paid for something we didn’t get and we don’t get any news about it, looks like a big scamm
Hi there TS Staff @SYOX,
This is not the news we were waiting since more than 2 days now.
This is a roadmap. And right now, we don’t care.
We want to know how much time you need to fix it ! We want to be updated on your progress.
TS is not mainstream, it’s for tech people, we love hardware, servers, VOiP, etc … Give us some details.
As i said on another topic, if you don’t update people, hype goes down and you’re done.
This is the last chance for TS to be back in the game, don’t F it up.
I really look forward to try this new version after so many years complaining about Discord pricing. Please give us an ETA, even if it’s got to be a week or 2, it’s fine if we are aware of it.
It would be great if you put a toolbar back in, I miss the master volume
Just tell us how long we have to wait for something, we are all hyped, but honestly I want to know if you’re planning to release features in the near future or if it’s something you are not working on yet. I guess we are all ready to give you feedback but we also need to know more.
Ooooor, I suggest you stop talking as “we” as if you were the community as a whole, and being so full of yourself.
I’d enjoy a roadmap as well, but I can also arm myself up with patience as I’ll most probably use what they’ll put onto the table whenever it comes, as anyways, Discord runs on public servers, and basically just sucks overall. You will probably too, unless you can give me a software doing what TS plans to do, that is self-hostable, and free to use on your personal server.
They can take way more than “a week or two” to fix things up, actly, they can take the time they need, and, guess what, they will anyways. They are not magicians.
You already said it was their last chance in another topic ? Well glad you can spread toxicity that much without a hint of shame; but you’re making yourself look miserable.
I also wanna use this first post on TS forums to give a huge thanks to TS team as they’re doing a formidable job that understands and tends to meet our expectations. This guy is not the only one, I hope you’re not letting them put any pressure of your shoulders, they are all craving for your product anyways. Much love.
It does not work on my community server at all hosted on ny1.
Thanks for the update! Keep up the good work!
Everyone is going to hate on you no matter what you do. Please continue to update us even if these people keep whining.
I couldn’t agree more, @Chouyoux. It’s honestly mindblowing how much negativity can be spread over a transparently communicated beta product, especially when it’s completely normal for there to be some issues given the amount of people storming the product. @WarrakOff and @pndaq are really bringing that “Karen energy” to the table, and I sincerely hope the forum can get a break from their toxic behavior. It’s important that we protect our space here and encourage legitimate and respectful feedback, without giving it up to some people who are in need to feel important.
A big thank you also from me to the developers for all their hard work. It’s truly appreciated and there is a very quiet majority of people, still using and enjoying teamspeak and your updates, who have been waiting patiently for all progress and will continue to do so. Keep it up!
Amazing aprouch, we are at a time when Home Server is starting to become popular, so it would be interesting to have an official Docker version if possible. It could run on ZimaOS, CasaOS, Unbrel, Unraid, TrueNas, Open Media Vault, etc… It would have a wide audience.
I’m also sure that some of these systems would want to put the TS6/3 server in the system’s default App store.
I already use TS3 in docker in my home server, but my friends are reluctant to use a competing app precisely because of screen sharing, camera, mobile, etc, etc…
I miss TS, you guys are doing a great job.
If possible, add a way to hide rooms.

No, I was charged already because I did not purchase the cheapest tier.
It’s quite simple to say: “Hey, we will obviously add the downtime to your subscription.”, but apparently they do not want to do so, for whatever reason.
You do understand that they’re charging money for the servers right now, yes?
So if I pay for a server for 30 days and it’s unusuable for 48+ hours, I want those 48 hours added to the time of the subscription.
We’re talking about the bare minimum here, but to you this is apparently too much and “Karen energy” (lmao).
Just for the fun of it: Please show me another paid online service that ignored 48+ hours of unavailability without apologizing for it and extending the subscriptions for at least the amount of the downtime? You’ll be hard pressed to find them. Ask yourself why.
I thank developers by paying for their product, if they treat their customers right. That’s what’s going to pay their bills. If not, there’s competitors out there luckily.
Hey @Chouyoux,
Thanks for the reply, but let’s get a few things straight.
First off, I never claimed to speak for everyone, but I do believe I’m voicing what many long-time TS users are thinking. A roadmap is great, but after years of waiting, knowing the actual status of development and timelines would do wonders to rebuild trust and excitement. Transparency isn’t toxicity, it’s what keeps a community engaged.
Secondly, I didn’t ask them to “fix it in a week”; I asked for an ETA, even if it takes longer. Big difference. Constructive criticism and holding them accountable doesn’t make me “toxic”, it makes me someone who cares enough to stick around and hope TS has a fighting chance to compete with Discord.
I get it, you’re cool with waiting silently. That’s fine. But if I’m voicing frustrations, it’s not out of “shame” or “pressure”; it’s because this community and product have huge potential, and watching it flounder in silence is frustrating. My criticism isn’t about tearing them down, it’s about making sure they hear what people really need to stay invested.
Finally, glad you’re here to give thanks on your first post, but maybe chill with the moral high ground. Just because I’m more direct doesn’t mean I’m less of a fan than you. We all want the same thing at the end of the day: a solid, competitive TS.
Let’s hope the team delivers.
hey, good that this post actually exists…
I have some feedback as well:
we are missing functionalities, which are mandatory and 1000% needed for users, who are hosting or moderating teamspeak servers:
- display server groups and edit server groups for users, even if they are not online
- server edit modes (define welcome message, banner, icons, etc etc)
- Ban user either online or offline & viewing the bans easily
- change description of users who are using teamspeak 3.6.2 or lower
- possibility to format channel descriptions without knowing every bb-code
- displaying of all servergroups with icons in channeltree
- the possibility to link user in a channel description with their teamspeak UID is no longer possible with the command “client:///xXXXxXxXX” in an url
let me know if this might be in the next release as I need to use version 3.6.2. for all of this, which is kind of annoying.
Kind regards
Berit
Oh, hi there! Many thanks for your job
- Will the new server have text channels only available?
- Are there plans to implement webhooks for text channels?
- Are there plans to support embed messages for text channels?
thank you for the updates! W
I would also like everything this very moment, but we all have to understand that software takes time to build and stabilize. hoping they will get released as soon as possible
godspeed TS team!
WORD…
It would be nice if we are able to call in group chat.
@alltheRedditPosters Please keep your personal bs to reddit. No one cares about trolls nor whiteknights here. Its a Feedback thread.
Feedback UI related: Maybe its just hidden in the Settings somewhere but we are missing the log messages in the channel when a user joined and left. It was nice to know if someone wanted to say hello.
I will describe my opinion about TS6
- Reduce the size of the channel tiles (make it more like it was in beta 77, the current size is not very convenient to monitor your server at a resolution of 1920x1080)
- Make channel banners like they were in old betas so that they stretch along the entire length (not everyone moves the divider closer to the left side so that the banners look normal and not like stubs)
- In my opinion, the central server banner in the channel tree is a convenient thing, but the display of the main banner in it looks strange (my logo is displayed only in the upper part maybe it is worth adding a second banner for this? so that we can adjust it to this size)
- Return the functions from the “Permission” section to the channel editing for more precise channel settings (I personally miss this, maybe someone else has to use TS3 for this setting)
- In the search line in Russian it says “Search / Connect” but it should be “Поиск / Подключение” although I have accurately translated this line into Russian
- Sometimes when opening community chats in full screen the text in the chats of the northern channel breaks
My suggestions for future versions:
- Add a Steam link to myTeamSpeak account to display games (at the moment you have to use sinusbot or other bots and create separate rights with games so that server users can see what you are playing)
- Maybe it’s worth returning the green color for your friends from the contact list if they are on the server with you, as it was in the old beta versions
Since you added peer-to-peer screen sharing, is it possible that one day we’ll get a peer-to-peer calling feature as well (for group chat’s and private messages)?
