Honestly I stopped coming to TS forum after I realized ranting on the boards do not shake a company like this.
If this ranting was going on in my community boards I would definitely wake up and do something for the community.
You introduced sponsorship licenses, wow congrats, you could have just introduced cheaper licenses in the process for individual communities. That way all shall prosper.
If the new CEO is willing to change some things instead of receiving free pay checks every month I request you to please update your client and get it out of closed beta.
It will be sad to see any medium/large community leaving TS and shifting to Discord. As far as I know @TrunkzJr community was one of the best in USA and it would be sad to see them leave.
All I have to say is whatever they do release next they have to ask themselves a very good question - - - was it worth it?

That could be a reason.
With a change of managing director, I think things could be changing. I wont speculate much into it on here, but I have my suspicions.
It is not that i donāt agree with you, but at my opinion we should just wait for them to publish a new update. I will stay at teamspeak because I love playing with nice audio quality and low cpu usage.
Iāve heard from TeamSpeak today, not much to say other than theyāre still working from home and the sponsorship license is now available to those who have a sponsorship.

If you are trying to push out a new product - this being TS5 - you kinda need to give feedback on bugreports, upcoming things and give people a heads up. No, roadmap forum is NOT a thing. Git? Come on, we know you use that anyway. Might aswell switch it on for beta users.

Weāve already had people like that in their young 20ās who have never heard of Teamspeak. We went from having 375 in our Discord (not really being used, only used when TS went down), and since weāve switched within 3 weeks or so to almost 1000 people. Being able to use the avenues of Official Game Discords (example the Official EFT Discord) to recruit has made it much easier to bring in more people. Teamspeak does not offer such a thing, they donāt even have a recruit area on these forums. They actually donāt do anything to help boost up your Teamspeak server. While I miss the Teamspeak layout, thereās just too many benefits Discord currently offers, keep on playing the wait game and giving out āfalseā home in the forms of small messages with winks, I personally donāt believe it, if they are cooking up something, they should have previews of it here to keep people from leaving them, I donāt see this, so I donāt believe in TS anymore. Sell Teamspeak, and let someone else take the name and building back into the King it used to be.

Exactly! Teamspeak has no problem posting all kinds of game updates on their Instagram, but yet they canāt come here and type a simple forum post? They could at least come and say f**k yāall, we arenāt putting an update out, or the update is planned for ____, but we canāt even get any of that!
As you said @TrunkzJr they either need to sell Teamspeak or call it quits if they canāt keep an open line of communication, especially when they are getting blasted right here!

When is the new TeamSpeak 5 going to receive an update have anyone heard anything as Iām a tester myself just in case there are other forum permissions or access depending on those BETA Testers because at this point it would be lovely to have an ETA or just know something as I got a large group of people who would love to use TeamSpeak 5 but we would 100% need whisper.

But weāll have to wait. They are working hard on the new update I think. Itās not easy at all during the Corona period.
