Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version) - Not sure how long but was using the original Teamspeak before it became TS2 TS3
What OS/OS’s are you currently using? - Win10
Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior? - Mix. Server owner
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS? - 4
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why? - The only thing I like about discord is the ability to drag and drop pic's, links etc directly to the channel threads either main or channel specific. Other than that I much prefer TS to discord.

Overall it would be probably 6-7 years now. - What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
Private Server owner (hosting) and slowly the TS is getting inactive as many teammembers are converting to discord -
On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
current version 4 -
Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
The whole conversion to discord is happening in my team because they are missing a good text channel which is active even if they are not logged in. The Gui is fresher but also more cluttered so not really my cup of tea. Like the straigtforward design of version 3 more but that is the future i guess

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
- Sending pictures and file transferring between users and in the text part of the channel. Maybe a calendar can also be a good idea, where you can set notifications within teamspeak, so you won’t need other aplications for it.

Hello dear TeamSpeak team,
Im as interest as alot of guys join this, hope you choose carefully.
-
I’m using TS3 since I was kid, it means like 7 years, but I created myTeamSpeak maybe year ago.
-
I’m using Windows 10 (win 7 as kid) and month ago I bought ts for IOS.
-
Currently I’m active user, I basically join TeamSpeak server every day +6h. At all it’s not mine, it’s my friends TeamSpeak, I’m helping them with administration as head of admin team.
-
I think, that I can do a lot with TeamSpeak, so hope if I said number 3, I could be probably right.
-
if we are talking about ts iOS version, I’d like to add seeing peoples in them room, not just rooms, then it could be good videochat and screenshare.
And if we are talking on windows ver. I’d like to add some type of connection for example for netflix, spotify to share fun with friend far away from us, fun as from music as from movies, then theres a something like notepad and paint paper, literary visible by everyone in the room, what if i said that want to show them Škoda, but i lost how it is called, so i draw it then everybody knows what i mean without saying, and maybe it could be good to share file from microsoft, i mean its good to open Word in teamspeak and everybody in the room can edit it, if youre going to write a book, then you need someone who can repair your faults in the text and live editing text could be really cool, then same but with Excel sheets, and at the ending, sharing screen, never gonna open Discord app again!
I hope that you like my answers.
With much thanks,
Yours faithfully,
M0D
1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I’m not very sure how long I’ve been using teamspeak but I would say since 5 or 6 years.
2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
I am using Windows 10 64 bit version.
3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
At the moment I am not doing a lot on teamspeak and thats the reason why I want to do anything like alpha testing.
4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
5, because I was almost 5 years a very active user.
5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
I think it would be an awesome feature to have more options with contacts like for example seeing where buddies are and having a private chat out of any servers.
1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I have been using TeamSpeak since 2012.
2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows 7, Windows 10, Linux (Debian) and Android.
3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I am the owner of 2 servers, one of them is public and 2 of them to support my TeamSpeak server add-ons (Websites, Query Bots) and I am an active user.
4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
I would rate my technical skills on a scale of 1-5 dividing into individual categories into:
- Server Management: 5/5
- Client (Settings): 4.8/5
- Client related bugs fixes: 2-3/5
- Creating my own look knowing class names: 4-5/5
- Creating addons for TeamSpeak servers (Query Bots, WWW pages): 4/5
- Creating my own Addons: 0/5 (Never tried, not including creating appearances with the addition of additional information to facilitate the administration of TeamSpeak 3 servers by Administrators)
5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
- Adding Information about the game that the user is playing
- To facilitate communication for users by playing with each other and to let others know if a given person, for example, is busy
- Adding hidden channels that will appear or hide after receiving a given rank
- To make it easier for users to move around and that the view of the server is not collapsed and only users with given ranks would be able to see the channels that are available to them and that the server could have an event channel that would only be available during events
- Adding a player when someone sends a link to an MP3 file
- This would allow users to check whether they like a given song without having to click on the link, and it would add the ability to listen to, for example, internet radio or songs simply without following the link
- Adding generating information about the link under it when sending a message
- This would make it possible for users to check, for example, whether their link is interesting without having to enter it to see if it contains anything interesting.
- Adding a preview of a video from youtube or from another website
- It would make others know what the movie is and what it contains.
- Adding server events and notifications
- This would add many new opportunities for both programmers and users, e.g. the Administration could inform people about recruitment to the team or events that will take place.
- Adding Live recording/screen sharing
- This will enable users to help easier and faster with resolving errors or show a given thing.
- Adding the possibility of creating ranks with a specific number of users or with a specific date after which it will not be possible to assign it, unless you modify such a rank
- This will allow you to create e.g. collector ranks that will only be available at a given time
- Adding the ability to create statistics that would add new permissions or skills to users as well as allowing users to see how much percentage they already have and how much they are missing to the next level and what they will get in the next level
- This will introduce a lot of variation for the user and the interaction and competition with other users and it will make the users more attached to the server.
- Adding an API
- This would enable easier operation and creation of bots that automate the server or server pages, as well as the built-in function to securely log into the server’s website using myTeamSpeak account or server account.
- Adding a page
- Where the names of style classes will be listed along with their description, which will make it easier to create your own themes for TeamSpeak

Small server owner - On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
4 - Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Teamspeak 5 should still stay voice chat orientated, not like discord (badly text orientated interface). But nowadays video chat is also needed.
Mainly voice chat orientated like TS is allways been, plus good video chat and text option, with nice looking interface should gain maximum user traction in my opinion. Because that is what we need, simple and fast communication.
I also would be happy to take part as Alpha Testing.

- Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and
I would love to see video calls with NDI support to use TeamSpeak for our twitch streams. TeamSpeak has great sound quality, if there would be video quality like discord but with NDI is in my opinion what is missing on the market.

Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Making the SDK available for the community. This is was the game changing for the Discord and TeamSpeak should allow their community to build third-party apps that can completely improve the overall experience, I’m talking about something friendly to programmers, not about overengineering things to achieve results that could have been done way more easily if we have proper access to its API.
One thing is for sure, TS has one of the better audio quality streaming in the market, but that’s useless if server owners cannot customise their servers to provide the experience they want their target users to have.

I would say 3 to 4. - Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Better layout, like the one being built (seriously love it and want to test it), I would love to have functionalities like certain server groups not be able to see certain channels at all, not only the users inside.
