Alpha Testing?

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I have been using TeamSpeak3 for 7 years I think.
And TeamSpeak5 since the beta, I was one of the 100 winners back then who participated in the competition.

2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows 10

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I have both Private, Project and business TeamSpeak servers, but offer servers on my corporate site as well.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
Definitely 5, after several hundred TeamSpeak server setups.

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Of course the voice program is not missing anything, but you could add features especially for the work in TeamSpeak, something like

  • Chatrooms like Voice Channels only with text content
  • Screen transmission with remote access
  • An API for bots (maybe based on NodeJS? :D)
  • Better voice codecs

And what comes to my mind above all, release the hosting license for companies again.

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

Since 2013 I have been a fairly active user, therefore I have been using teamspeak for more than 8 years and counting.

However, throughout my years using TeamSpeak, I have had the opportunity to own some servers.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

I would rate a 4 out of 5, because I don’t have deep knowledge about Server Query System.

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

I would add a web version, it would be a great help for new users to come to TeamSpeak.

  1. Quite few years, some time ago I’ve switched to other platform (because of the lacks of features, which new TS should fix  ) If I had to guess, I used TS for at least 5 years now, at minimal.
  2. At home - Windows, on servers - Debian
  3. I currently own a TS3 server, which is used only sometimes (free license, for a few people)
  4. Knowledge about 4 out of 5.
  5. I’m not sure what to answer, becuase the thing I’d like to see might be in the new TeamSpeak, of course, mostly some messages, calls and such. Only thing I don’t know about is - I’d love API to easily connect it to multiple things or so.

  • Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

I’m a total newbie. I’ve never used TeamSpeak but have been on the beta release signup for what seems like eons. I’m a long time Discord user, eSports cyclist on Zwift, and the leader of a virtual cycling team for women. Perfect opportunity to implement for TeamSpeak!

Mac OS, iOS

  • Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

Only on Discord! I defer to my total newb answer…

  • On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

I’m a creative technologist by trade. I’m a regular beta tester for Adobe and am very experienced in filing formal bug reports. Based on this, I would score my technical knowledge in general as 5. My technical knowledge of TS itself is zip. But I’m a total geek and a fast learner.

  • Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

I’m a motion picture and broadcast FUI (futuristic user interface) designer. The main reason I haven’t tried the current version, is because the UI/UX design is…hmmm…how shall I say this. It could use improvement . So if I could add one thing, it would amazing be an amazing UI!

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

  • I would love the option to send images and possibly small sized videos. As well as screen share. Cheers for the oppertunity!

  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

    Active user
  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS? 4, advanced permission boss
  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why? Screen sharing is an obvious thing. But another thing really important to modify, I guess, is the access to the voice settings. When I invite some IRL friends on teamspeak, they often need to configure all those settings. Just needs an ergonomic platform.
