2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
I use on my PC Windows, at Smartphone Android and on my 2 Roots i have Linux and Windows.

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I am a active Server Owner, and a very active User

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
My technical knowledge is 3-4 / but im learning fast

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Teamspeak needs a way to stream in order to stay competitive. That is the big problem, which is why many users switched to Discord. You can chat there via webcam or stream. As an add-on, that might be a great thing

  1. How long have you been using TeamSpeak for?

Never. Planning on trying it out and understanding it better.

  1. What operating system(s) are you running?

Windows and Ubuntu

  1. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

Not on teamspeak, but many on Discord.

  1. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

1 - I have never used it hands-on, but it seems like something I could get the hang of.

  1. If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

Can’t really recommend changes as I don’t have experience to know what would be nice to change.

——————————

I was recommended to use Teamspeak by a friend, and have been interested in getting access to TeamSpeak5. I love the idea of a private, self controlled place to talk with friends where I control all of the data.

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I’ve been using Teamspeak on and off since 2014.

2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
I’m currently using Windows 10 Pro.

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I used to run a pretty active server in the past for my eSports organization but since then, I haven’t been active within the Teamspeak community.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
I’d say I know a lot about Teamspeak 3, hoping to learn more about 5 when it’s officially released. I’d say about a 4.5/5.

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
I would suggest making it possible for people to create bots for their server, music bots, moderation bots, etc. Things like this would help with Teamspeak usage.

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I’ve been using Teamspeak since Teamspeak 2, so around 2006-2007.

2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows 10 and iOS.

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I currently run my own non licensed server on a Linux VPS, and also an active user.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
In terms of permission settings, client settings and setting up a Teamspeak server, I’d give myself a 4. Anything outside of server settings and client settings would be a 1.

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
As for a feature I’d like to see on Teamspeak, it would be the ability to seamlessly live stream/screen share your desktop, game, live chat, etc with a click of a button. I feel this feature is important because not only is it a hot commodity in the market as of now, people also can’t be bothered with the amount of program(s) needed to properly stream. Another plus is this feature would further allow us to connect with our friends and peers regardless of distance.

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
I’m confident I have been using TeamSpeak for about 5 years.
2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Windows since the start!
3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I use TeamSpeak everyday, I used to own a server but it didn’t really go well, so now I just hang out in the servers of others!
4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
To be fair and honest, I’m not very good when it comes to the technical aspect of TS, If I had to rate my knowledge on it, I would say a 3 ish
5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Well, One feature I would absolutely love and use all the times would be Screen-Sharing.
For example, If my friends and I were to watch a movie together, we would have to watch it on a different platform. I do understand that TeamSpeak (as the name says) focuses on allowing communities of people to speak to each other, but it would be cool to have a wider selection of features.

  1. Od 2017

  2. Windows 10, Android

  3. Jestem Aktywnym Użytkownikiem z Polskich serwerów dużo opartych na technicznych rzeczach.

  • Weryfikacja dwuetapowa

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

Server owner and active user.

  1. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

A solid 4.

  1. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

Screen sharing and more Discord like social features, to prevent them to keep stealing our users.

Since 2001, TeamSpeak 2, and a constant user the whole time.

What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

Currently using Windows 10 mainly,

On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

5, I would hope so after 19 years! I’ve coded numerous extensions for the servers I own and am very familiar with the Server Query system.

Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

My most wanted feature is the ability to expand links posted in the chat, like the way discord does it, purely so I can easily see what people are posting at a glance. My second choice would be a web client, not for myself but because it will make TeamSpeak more accessible to people.

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
    started around 2004.

  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
    Windows 10, 64bit

    active user

  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
    3

    Screen Sharing / Camera Sharing

1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)
Since 2013 (TeamSpeak 3), one of the first beta testers for TeamSpeak 5

2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?
Currently using Linux (Ubuntu) mainly, for Gaming I use Windows 10. All my servers run on Debian 10 and Ubuntu 20.04. Oh yeah and iOS/Android for mobile.

3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?
I am currently a server owner and have been since 2013. But for the last months I mainly used Discord because of the Video and Screen share features.

4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
5, because I created a lot of TeamSpeak servers and created ServerQuery bots.

5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?
Video and Screen share, because TS lacks of these features a lot of my friends and myself tent to prefer Discord more and more. In my opinion this is sad because I love TS because I have control over my own server and know were my data is. Another thing that I miss is a better license model, with more different licenses for servers to choose from. On the other hand my friends and myself would pay / support TS with a monthly subscription just like discord or other services.

Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

Since the end of 2011, TeamSpeak 3, I’ve been using it the whole time about 3-7 days per week.

What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

I’m currently using Windows 10, but I can test on Windows 7 and Android 11/OxygenOS 11 as well.

Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

I’m an active user but have also taken moderative roles in TeamSpeak servers working closely together with server owners.

On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

As I am working in the audio/music industry, I would grade my technical knowledge at 2.

Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

I would like to see the implementation of low latency audio streaming with codecs fitting for music and direct integration for Music Bots or Streaming Services directly.

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for?

    • Been actively using Teamspeak since about 2012.
  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

    • Win10
    • Experimenting with Ubuntu Server
  3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

    • Currently a active user with a small group of friend, we are looking to run our own server soon.
  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?

    • I would score myself a 4. I am not a developer but I would call myself a poweruser. So if I want something to work, I will most likely succeed.
  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

    • I would add Live Video Streaming. It makes a ton of things easier to explain when showing a friend how to do something. Streaming gameplay to friend is also alot of fun.

Hi there, I’d like to become an alpha tester.

  1. Overall, how long have you used TeamSpeak for? (any version)

    => Since 02/2017 (TS3 + TS3 mobile)

  2. What OS/OS’s are you currently using?

=> I’m using Windows 10 (on my PC), Android (mobile) and Debian Buster (on a second PC and my Server)

  3. Are you currently a server owner, an active user (but don’t run your own server), inactive, or a mixture of the prior?

=> TeamSpeak is used every day by me. I have an own server (hosted on Debian) since 3 years.

  4. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being low and 5 being the best), how would you score your technical knowledge on TS?
    => 4

  5. Optional question - If you could add something that doesn’t exist on TS currently, what would it be and why?

=> I would include more functions to the taskbar. So people with one display can see important information, e.g. in which channel they are or other things like notifications.
The blue dot, which is included so far, is very practical.

Greetings Yannik
