Hybrid / Automatic VAD not working - volume gate working | wrong set samplerate

Hello,

I switched my audio interface recently (to a Arturia MiniFuse 4) and since then the VAD mode Hybrid / Automatic does not work at all. The icon never lights up, test recordings in the client itself are silent and joining a server and talking there isnt working either.

Other software works just fine with the new interface (my Digital Audio Workstation, Discord, etc)

Tried reinstalling TS6, tried TS3, tried reseting the settings, the error sadly persists.

Can someone think of anything else I could try?

The VAD mode Volume Gate works, but I always liked hybrid more so my friends dont have to hear anything besides my voice

Thank you!

Is the audio device correctly set?

Have you tried it with different inputs? (like default device and the device itself)

Could you please post your latest client log

Hi,

yes, all correctly set and switched through all the inputs.

Here is the requested client log. I changed through the VADs and tried to talk.

Thank you, I’ll forward that to our dev team.

I’ve got a reply from the team and the logs don’t report anything suspicious.

You should try changing the capture settings for your microphone to 16bit, 48khz / try different frequencies that are available.

If that does also not work, you can try renaming the settings.db which is located here %appdata%/teamspeak/default and let it regenerate. By doing that you are getting back to the default settings.

It can be possible that the audio settings are displayed differently from what they are actually set to. Therefore using clean settings may resolve this issue.

Hi there,

first of, thank you for your swift responses!

Changing the capture settings to 16bit 48khz resolved the issue.

Thank you so much!

Hello, some of my Friends and me too have the problem that our mic is not working with the normal soundinterface input. I can select it but no audio.

Temporary fix is to use voicemeeter and map the soundinterface input to voicemeeter and use voicemeeter input in ts6 client.

Would be very nice if this get fixed.

Are you able to capture audio during the microphone test?

Could you please post post a freshly generated client log?

I was able to narrow down the error: When I set speech recognition (VAD) to Noise Gate, I have sound from my microphone and also when I test the microphone in the client. However, when I set speech recognition to automatic or hybrid, the sound disappears immediately.
I will send the logs via private message, but I couldn’t find any settings for the log level in the client.
