The TeamSpeak server could not validate your myTeamSpeak ID // myTS id is invalid

This is a megathread to collect all reports of issues that the TeamSpeak server could not validate your myTeamSpeak ID // myTS id is invalid. Please refrain from creating new topics about this issue and use this thread instead.


It is possible that our revocation server is currently experiencing a brief downtime and that the server is using an outdated version of this list. So if you are not the only user on that TeamSpeak Server experiencing this issue, please follow follow this topic.


This is the error shown in the TS3 Client

The TeamSpeak server could not validate your myTeamSpeak ID. Some myTeamSpeak related services are not available.
Reconnecting might solve the issue. (it didn't)
myTeamSpeak ID is invalid

This is the error shown in the server logs.

failed to download revocation list - count: 4
rejecting myteamspeakid: revoke list out of date
client is connecting with a invalid or revoked myTeamSpeak ID

Before posting please check:

  • make sure your login in client is still valid and that you get no errors about the myTSID in your client log.

  • if you have performed a password reset and might not have entered your recovery key yet.

  • if you no longer have your recovery key, then please perform a Fallback to activate all myTS features again. You can find a full explanation in this post:


If you are still experiencing any issues with the myTeamSpeak ID validation, please reply here and we’ll find out what causes the issue.

If anyone comes here looking for an answer to this issue and the solution above did not work, check that you have enabled 2FA in your MyTeamSpeak ID.

  1. Go to https://www.myteamspeak.com/ and log in.
  2. Select the “Account” tab and verify 2FA is enabled. Enable it if not.
  3. Be sure to disconnect from the TS client and re-connect.

This is what solved the issue for me.

Doesn’t solve the issue, enabling F2A signs you out of myteamspeak on TS3 client hence why you don’t see the error anymore as it doesn’t support F2A login, and when trying to sign in again with F2A enabled it keeps giving error login failed.

Issue just started for me tonight as everything was working fine about 2 hours ago from now with no changes made on my end, any solutions?

Hello,

I am using the same TeamSpeak 3 identity that I backed up before reinstalling my operating system.

When I log into my TeamSpeak account on the website, all my badges are visible, but they do not appear in the TS3 client.

I am certain that I am using the correct and only identity.

Could you please check and re-link my identity with my badges or reset the badge synchronization?
